Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM), 3 shifts / week

Total Hours : 36 hours per week

Patient Ratio : 1 : 6 (Adults & Geriatrics)

Scrubs : Royal Blue

Flu Vaccine : Required (no exemptions)

Orientation : Bi-weekly, 36 hours

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of recent Medical / Surgical RN experience

Active North Carolina or Compact RN license (Registered Nurse license required)

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Proficient with electronic charting systems

Experience managing a 1 : 6 patient ratio

Preferred : Previous charge nurse, community hospital, or LTAC experience

Flu vaccine required (no exemptions or declinations accepted)

One supervisory reference from the past year required

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a busy Med / Surg unit

Manage a patient load of up to 6 patients per shift

Perform and document comprehensive assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient progress

Utilize advanced clinical skills including central line management, wound care, telemetry monitoring, and post-operative care

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and more)

Respond to rapid response and code situations as needed

Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures

Participate in orientation and complete all required training modules
