Responsibilities
- Overseeing and contributing to electrical projects
- Managing all aspects of electrical tasks and delegating responsibilities to electrical professionals
- Follow safety regulations and company policies regarding installation and maintenance
- Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and technical personnel to gather correct information regarding project logistics and avoid future electrical issues
- Provide their expertise in electrical engineering and design for cable placement
Tasks
Provide leadership over electrical construction projectsPreparing bids and estimatesNegotiating contracts and contract termsSecuring profitable workSubmit partial and / or final billingsManage manpower, equipment and toolsEstablishing project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standardsMaintaining high levels of communication with all parties involved in projectsPreparing contracts, change orders, and purchase ordersRequisitioning needed supplies and materialsMaintaining safe job sites and encouraging safe work practicesCreating documentation for future referenceReviewing electrical installation for correct functioningProviding oversight for accuracy and consistency to electrical standardsManage all project-related expenses, materials, and budget tasksDevelop plans and schedules for deploying electrical resourcesAct as a liaison with other technical staff to make sure projects are scalable as time goes onReport their progress to the electrical supervisorComply and enforce Company and Customer policies and proceduresComply and enforce Company and Customer Safety policies and proceduresRequirements
Prefer a Minimum of 4 years' experience in the Commercial and Industrial electrical fieldBachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a similar fieldMust be efficient and detail oriented to ensure quality of serviceStrong communication, multitasking, and prioritization skillsDemonstrated experience in a project management roleProficiency with project management and estimating software and MS Office SuiteLEED CertificationAccubid experienceNew Construction experienceA valid driver's licenseFire Alarm License a plusBenefits
