Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support high school students in a K-12 school setting located in Dearborn, MI. The position is a full-time, onsite contract for the 2025-2026 school year. You will work closely with a small caseload of approximately 13 to 14 students, providing tailored educational support designed to meet each student's unique learning needs.

Responsibilities include :

• Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Collaborating with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting instructional strategies as needed
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters growth and self-confidence
• Managing classroom behavior and providing appropriate interventions
