Occupational Therapy Assistant

Schedule : Fulltime 40hrs / week - Days. Four 10 hour shifts / week. Either Thursday-Sunday or Friday-Monday. This position includes premium compensation for required weekend shifts.
About Us Occupational Therapy
- Freeman Rehabilitation Services offers inpatient and outpatient occupational therapy in multiple locations
- Occupational therapists work with patients to improve their ability to perform tasks in living and working environments
- Occupational therapists use their expertise and knowledge to help with both recovery and adaptation
- Patients receive occupational therapy in a number of settings including acute care, home healthcare, pediatrics and work performance rehabilitation
Independently follows a treatment plan based on therapist / goal directed objectives, delivers / documents care, and provides D / C planning on all physician referred patients. Supervises and directs the treatment and activity of support staff. Performs tasks in compliance with the professional code of ethics, standards of practice, state / national regulations, hospital standards and departmental policies / procedures.
Current Missouri Occupational Therapy Assistant License National Certification (NBCOT) within 6 months.
