Enterprise Services Procurement Team
The Enterprise Services Procurement team is seeking a strong Procurement Professional to manage medium and high complexity external procurements in support of internal and customer requirements. The successful candidate will procure non-production goods and services in support of RTX's business units and Corporate functions.
The Non-Product procurement team is a high volume, fast paced team that relies heavily on metrics to drive value throughout the end-to-end procurement process. Our team is comprised of procurement teams responsible for buying materials and services across a range of commodities from components and hardware through complex technical and facilities services. The procurement team manages and facilitates procurement from sourcing through payment to support our business units and corporate entities.
The ideal candidate will have experience with non-product procurement, sourcing and execution. This includes terms and conditions negotiations, supplier management, price analysis, proposal support and compliance aspects of supply chain management. Additionally, the candidate will have experience influencing suppliers and their performance while servicing business customers to a very high level of service excellence.
What You Will Do :
Supplier negotiations (price, schedules and terms & conditions)
Understand supply chain compliance, including in-depth knowledge of U.S. Government Acquisition Regulations (FAR, DFARS), Raytheon terms and conditions and export / import requirements.
Review of SOW's (Statements of Work)
Create PIA / NDA's
Obtaining Proposal / Quotation activities
Documentation write-up
Developing compliance packages
Selecting qualified suppliers and perform Due diligence
Seeking alternate suppliers (when applicable)
Best value, cost and price analysis
Post-award management in accordance with company directives and Business Unit work instructions.
Significant supplier interaction in collaboration with Business and Programs
Managing supplier's critical path in support of key program milestones
Strategic planning while supporting daily tactical and detailed activities
Engage with Business EXIM, Legal, & Sr. Leaders
Qualifications You Must Have :
This role typically requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' relevant experience
At least 3 years' experience with and knowledge of DoD procurement / subcontract compliance with Public Laws, Policies, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR / DFAR), and ITAR to include experience negotiating terms and conditions
At least 3 years' experience with and knowledge of SAP procurement software tools, such as PRISM and APEX
At least 3 years' experience with purchase order management, including documentation, and contract negotiation experience with internal, across the businesses; external with suppliers
Supplier negotiations (price, schedules and terms & conditions) with the proficiency to perform and comprehend price analyses, source selection / justification
Qualifications We Prefer :
Working knowledge of Raytheon's various supply chain systems and the SAP PRISM purchasing tool
Ability to effectively interface with senior management on major matters pertaining to its policies, plans, and objectives along with the ability to develop peer relationships with senior executives, cross functional teams, customers, and program manager
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously excellent communication skills, ability to adapt to change, influential speaking and leadership skills - influence, presence, ability to interface internally and with suppliers
Must be able to execute timely decisions based on workload dispersion and customer priorities with the ability to multi-task and perform in a dynamic, fast paced, changing environment
Strong working knowledge of negotiating terms and conditions, with the ability to coach and develop employees' ability to negotiate terms and conditions independently
