As a Security Officer Front Desk Patrol Fulltime in Santa Monica, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food / Beverage, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and staff, helping to deter security-related incidents through your presence and professionalism. You will provide exceptional customer service, manage access control, and communicate clearly with all individuals entering the premises. Pay Rate : $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Monday 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Tuesday 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Wednesday 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Thursday 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Friday 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to guests and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and visitor credentials as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and / or unusual occurrences.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and / or vendors to address inquiries and provide information.
  • Support Allied Universal in helping to deter unauthorized activity through a visible presence at the front desk.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
