Element Line Operator : Sterling, Illinois

Our customer in Sterling, Illinois is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Element Line Operators to work full-time on 2nd shift. As an Element Line Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining equipment used in the production of steel components.

Responsibilities of the Element Line Operator :

• Input order data, tolerances, and lengths into operator panels.
• Operate machinery in both manual and automatic modes.
• Safely operate overhead cranes to load and mount steel coils onto the uncoiler.
• Start steel into the roll former and press.
• Perform quick pallet and coil changes to maintain production flow.
• Replace gas cylinders as needed.
• Sequence orders according to schedule and available materials.
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Element Line Operator Requirements and Qualifications :

Pay for Element Line Operator : Starting at $22 / hour.

Element Line Operator Benefits :

Type : 2nd Shift, Full-time

Schedule : Monday – Friday from 2 : 30pm – 12 : 00am.
