Barrows is seeking a dynamic Creative Director responsible for leading and inspiring the creative team to develop innovative marketing campaigns that drive sales and brand engagement. The creative team works to develop commerce marketing concepts and designs for integrated marketing programs and experiential retail designs at mass retail across the US.
Responsibilities include :
- Leading the creation of shopper marketing programs from concept development to design and execution
- Serving as a leader, creative mind, and project manager in one
- Driving creative process from conceptual thinking through to execution to develop experience-driven, connected shopper marketing solutions
- Ensuring the team delivers creative excellence through structured guidance, mentorship, and inspiration
- Proactively driving the process to generate and brief creative, actionable, and unique projects rooted in a clear idea and insight
- Developing creative briefs for ideation sessions and leading creative brainstorm sessions for client opportunities
- Accurately delivering design against the required brief and revert
- Working collaboratively with the strategy and client service teams to identify key insights to help drive creative programming and ensure all concepts are on brief
- Working with the client service team to identify growth opportunities with current and prospective clients
- Crafting the design associated with the client’s brand / project
- Providing a strong design point of view regarding messaging hierarchy, typography, layout, and color
- Creating strategically sound designs and concepts for in-store communication
- Developing and implementing processes and structures to achieve creative vision
- Generating exploratory mood boards by gathering literature and internet references
- Being an effective leader with strong communication and interpersonal skills in order to cultivate beneficial relationships both internally and externally
- Working quickly, independently, and with a can-do attitude
Qualifications :
10+ years of agency and / or strategic creative experience in brand, trade or shopper marketing or category managementCPG / Shopper experience a mustStrong portfolio showcasing successful shopper marketing / CPG campaigns, demonstrating a range of creative concepts and execution, particularly in the alc-bev spaceStrong consideration given to those with previous creative direction experienceDeep understanding of the alc-bev retail trade environment and channels, including omnichannel and physical / digital retail integrationsKnowledge of alc-bev legalities in application to trade and commerceHighly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlinesTeam leadership experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and creative concepts clearly and persuasivelyElevated understanding of the retail trade environment, including omnichannel and physical / digital retail integrationsCreative strategy and copywriting experience strongly preferredAbility to lead and drive client solutions through ambiguity, and adapt to changing prioritiesAbility to work in the office on average 4 days a weekBase pay range : $155,000.00 / yr - $200,000.00 / yr
