The Hire Solution has partnered with a cyber security services firm, seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance team, reporting directly to the Controller. This position is ideal for someone with strong analytical abilities, deep knowledge of accounting standards, and the flexibility to adapt quickly in a dynamic, small company work environment. In a small company setting, you'll be expected to juggle a variety of responsibilities, pivot between tasks at a moment’s notice, and thrive amid frequent interruptions and shifting priorities. A proactive, can-do attitude and a passion for problem-solving are essential.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Accurately process both accounts payable and accounts receivable functions in a timely fashion.
• Manage revenue activities including revenue recognition, lease agreements and deferred revenue
• Oversee employee expense reporting systems, including onboarding and ongoing user support.
• Strong QuickBooks, Sage Intacct or NetSuite ERP background highly desired
• Contribute to weekly cash flow projections and liquidity planning.
• Maintain and reconcile credit card transactions on a semi-monthly basis, ensuring complete supporting documentation is obtained.
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Conduct timely and accurate bank reconciliations.
• Maintain organized financial records to support compliance and audit readiness.
• Manage and file sales tax and other tax-related documentation as required.
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Liaise with internal departments and third parties to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Help strengthen internal controls and implement accounting best practices.
• Partner with the Accounting Manager to integrate systems like Salesforce, Concur, Bill.com, and the core accounting platform.
• Take initiative in solving complex accounting challenges, developing solutions, and driving execution to completion.
