Job Summary
Perform maintenance schedule planning for the Gibson City site.
The Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment reliability and operational efficiency. This role serves as a liaison between maintenance, operations, and other departments to ensure timely and effective execution of maintenance work.
Responsibilities Include :
Organize maintenance work notifications, review job scope, obtain parts and schedule maintenance work for the plant.
- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and facilities.
- Plan and coordinate corrective and predictive maintenance activities.
- Create detailed job plans including labor, materials, tools, and safety requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work orders, equipment history, and asset data.
- Collaborate with Maintenance Supervisors and Technicians to ensure work is executed as planned.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Assist managing spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement of necessary materials to ensure jobs can be completed timely.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track and manage maintenance activities.
- Practice job kitting to improve maintenance job completion times.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and reliability-centered maintenance practices.
- Communicate effectively with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to prioritize work based on production needs.
- Ensure maintenance objectives align with projects, reliability, costs, quality, and safety standards.
- Be available for off hour and weekend calls to keep 24 / 7 plant running smoothly.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
