IT Position- Hybrid The IT Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for all technology operations within LWMH.
This role combines hands-on systems management with a strong advisory component — providing consulting, recommendations, and strategic guidance on IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and technology improvements.
This is a hybrid role based in Duluth, GA, with the ability to travel occasionally to company locations in South Carolina and Florida as needed for on-site assessments, deployments, or support.
A key early initiative will include migrating company systems and data from the Skyline environment to a new server infrastructure — either in-house or cloud-based — while ensuring a seamless transition, business continuity, and PCI compliance.
Key Responsibilities Infrastructure & Systems Management Manage and maintain all company computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure (on-premise and cloud).
Lead the migration from Skyline to a new server environment, overseeing planning, data transfer, testing, and deployment.
Plan, configure, and implement a new on-site server, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
Oversee computer asset management, including inventory, lifecycle tracking, and replacement planning.
Administer and maintain Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, and backup systems.
Manage and support Apple Business Essentials and mobile device management (MDM).
Oversee network, VPN, and WiFi infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
Technology Strategy & Consulting Provide expert consulting and recommendations on IT strategy, infrastructure design, and security posture.
Evaluate emerging technologies and propose solutions to improve operational efficiency and scalability.
Advise leadership on long-term IT planning, including hardware refresh cycles, cloud adoption, and compliance initiatives.
Serve as the technical lead and advisor for all major IT-related decisions and vendor engagements.
Software, Applications, and Licensing Administer user access, permissions, and licensing for platforms including Slack, Adobe, Microsoft 365, ServiceTitan, and QuickBooks.
Coordinate website and domain management, including renewals, DNS, and hosting vendor relationships.
Manage business telephony systems (8x8, NGN, Spectrum Enterprise, AT&T) to ensure reliable communication.
Maintain and renew all IT-related licenses and subscriptions.
Security & Compliance Implement and monitor cybersecurity controls, including endpoint protection, MFA, and secure access policies.
Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures aligned with PCI DSS and industry best practices.
Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to ensure compliance and identify vulnerabilities.
Oversee data protection, backups, and disaster recovery protocols.
Vendor & Project Management Coordinate and manage relationships with external IT and service vendors, ensuring SLA and compliance adherence.
Lead technology projects such as server migrations, network upgrades, or cloud integrations.
Evaluate vendor proposals and make recommendations to leadership based on cost, performance, and scalability.
Support & Training Provide first-line support for end-user issues, including hardware, software, and connectivity troubleshooting.
Train employees on IT policies, cybersecurity awareness, and system best practices.
Maintain detailed IT documentation, including network maps, system configurations, and standard operating procedures. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of hands-on experience in IT management, systems administration, or infrastructure support.
Strong proficiency in Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure.
Proven experience in server setup, migration, and maintenance.
Familiarity with network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, WiFi).
Experience managing or coordinating Managed Service Providers (MSPs).
Working knowledge of PCI DSS compliance and implementation.
Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to travel occasionally to South Carolina and Florida for on-site support and implementation.
Preferred Qualifications Experience with ServiceTitan, QuickBooks, and VoIP / telephony systems (e.g., 8x8, AT&T).
Familiarity with Apple Business Manager or other MDM platforms.
Experience in business continuity planning and disaster recovery.
Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, or CISSP.
