Responsibilities and Duties
Provide medical care for pediatric patients in the cardiac intensive care unit (CICU)Manage post-operative cardiothoracic casesPerform procedures including arterial, central venous, and chest tube placement, endotracheal intubation, lumbar puncture, and needle thoracentesisCollaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomesDocument care and procedures using Epic EMRAdditional Information
One year of pediatric cardiology experience required; post-operative cardiothoracic experience preferredExperience with advanced critical care procedures desiredRequired board certifications : Pediatric Cardiology, Pediatric Critical Care Medicine, Acute Care Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP-AC)Must hold a valid Texas licenseBenefits
