Warehouse Lead
Temp-Hire Opportunity
$25-28 / hour
General Summary :
Receive, unload, and verify all incoming deliveries for accuracy, quality, and condition.
Inspect items thoroughly upon arrival; document damages with photos and reports; coordinate with the operations team to resolve claims.
Tag, label, and organize items for easy tracking and retrieval.
Maintain warehouse inventory systems with accurate and up-to-date information.
Prepare items (furniture, artwork, accessories) for delivery and installation, ensuring readiness and presentation standards are met.
Oversee loading and unloading of trucks for installs and returns, ensuring items are protected and accounted for.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment at all times.
Perform light assembly, touch-ups, or adjustments on furniture and accessories as needed.
Collaborate with the operations and design teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Develop and refine warehouse procedures to support efficiency and prepare for future team growth.
Skills & Qualifications
Highly motivated, mature, and self-directed with strong initiative.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Effective communicator with vendors, delivery teams, and internal staff
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and proactively address issues.
Physical ability to lift and move furniture and boxes as required.
Proficiency with basic warehouse software, project management systems, or willingness to learn (currently use Google Drive and Slack).
Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or inventory management (experience in furniture, design, or luxury goods preferred).
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, ideally a clean driving record.
