Registered Dietitian (RD) Independent Contractor or Part-Time - Must have Nebraska and Iowa License for Registered Dietitian

Nutrition consulting to Critical Access Hospital and Skilled Communities in the Blair NE and Onawa IA - job requires onsite visits (1-2 days per week) and remote work. Onsite vs Remote hours dependent on number of onsite hours required by communities.

Must have NDTR / RD credential awarded from the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

KEY RESPONSIBLITITES MAY INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO :

  • Completion of MDS assessments, Section K, CAA
  • Documentation for residents at a high risk for nutritional problems.
  • Participation in the care planning process.
  • Collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Team.
  • Provide oversight to the food service department with routine audit for safety, sanitation, and quality of food.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Commission on dietetic registration (CDR) credentials.
  • Licensed (if required by State)
  • 2 years of consulting / long term care is preferred, but we will consider many factors.
