Clive Behavioral Health opened in February 2021 with 100 inpatient beds for adult, child & adolescent patients experiencing a severe behavioral health crisis. Care at our new hospital focuses on crisis management, stabilization, and development of a plan to return to community living.

The Patient Account Specialist Lead is responsible for supervising the daily operations of the patient accounting systems, financial data, admissions, discharges, data processing, billing and collections for the hospital. This is not a remote position.

Business Office Lead Job Requirements :

• A minimum of one (1) year experience in admission processes and collections procedures, and a working knowledge of managed care; interpretation of insurance coverage plans, co-payments and deductible schedules and payment plans; and a working knowledge of computers and business software programs (Excel) preferred.
• Strong organizational skills
• Understanding of medical terminology.

Preferred Skills :

Education : High School diploma or equivalent

Hours : 8am-4 : 30pm, Monday through Friday, with a 30 minute lunch

May be required to work occasional overtime and flexible hours. May be required to complete Handle with Care / Crisis Prevention Intervention certification training within 30 days of employment. Training may be offered during New Hire Orientation.

This is not a remote position. Candidate must be available to work on site in Clive, Iowa.
