We are looking for an experienced and passionate Restaurant General Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the entire restaurant operation
- Deliver exceptional guest services
- Ensure guest satisfaction
- Plan new and update existing menus
- Plan and develop the overall restaurant marketing strategy
- Manage restaurant’s tech stack
- Respond efficiently to customer questions and complaints
- Organize and supervise shifts
- Manage and lead staff
- Develop hourly and salaried staff
- Hire new employees
- Terminate employees when necessary
- Training and evaluate staff performance
- Manage food cost, forecast requirements, and maintain inventory
- Manage restaurant supplies including smallwares
- Control costs and minimize waste
- Create and nurture a positive working environment
- Implement innovative strategies to improve productivity, sales, and food quality
Qualifications
Ideally, 5+ years of experience as a Restaurant General Manager or similar roleIdeally, 5+ years of experience in customer service managementExtensive food and wine knowledgeComputer literacyFamiliarity with restaurant management softwareExperience in event planningStrong leadership, motivational and people skillsGood financial management skillsCritical thinker and problem-solving skillsTeam playerGood time-management skillsGreat interpersonal and communication skillsCulinary school diploma or BS degree in Business AdministrationBenefits
