Tax Accountant

Are you ready to deduct the stress from your job search and add valuable experience to your career? Our client, a growing and well-established firm in Tinley Park, IL, is looking for a Tax Accountant to join their team! This role offers the chance to balance corporate and individual tax returns, work with high-net-worth clients, and gain valuable experience in tax planning and compliance.

Tax Accountant Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and file individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
  • Analyze and reconcile financial data for year-end closings
  • Advise clients on tax planning strategies to maximize savings
  • Stay ahead of ever-changing tax laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure accuracy and compliance

Tax Accountant Requirements :

  • 2+ years of tax accounting experience, preferably in public accounting or corporate tax
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
  • Proficiency in tax software and Excel to streamline workflows
  • CPA or CPA eligibility is a plus
  • A detail-oriented, analytical mindset with strong communication skills
