Tekscan is headquartered in Norwood, MA, where a talented team designs, develops, manufactures and markets our market-leading tactile measurement sensors and instruments. Tekscan was acquired in August of 2020 by Artemis Capital Partners, a Boston-based private equity firm.
Summary and Essential Duties
The Senior Human Resources Generalist will provide strategic guidance and day-to-day execution of Tekscan HR operations in support of a high-performing workforce of ~55 FTE. The role will report to the CFO and serve as a strategic advisor to the CFO and other senior leadership members. The individual will own the development and execution of Tekscan's HR and People Strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement annual HR and People Strategy, including workforce planning, budgeting and talent reviews.
- Plan and manage company-wide employee engagement initiatives, including all-hands meetings and employee events.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to define the organization's long-term mission and goals; identify ways to support this mission through talent management.
- Identify key performance indicators for the organization's HR and talent management functions; assess the organization's success and market competitiveness based on these metrics.
- Facilitate the implementation and execution of best practices across the talent management life cycle, including attracting, hiring, onboarding, training and development, performance management and employee engagement processes.
- Continue to foster the Tekscan culture through engagement surveys and other tools and implement relevant recommendations.
- Research, develop and implement competitive compensation, benefits, 401(k), time off, performance appraisal and employee incentive programs ensuring compliance with all applicable laws.
- Manage relationships with third-party payroll and benefit providers (ADP Comprehensive Services for Payroll and Hub for benefits).
- Serve as a resource to employees and assist with resolution of human resources, compensation and benefits questions, concerns and issues in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.
- Ensure compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, safety and other laws, regulations and requirements.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification a plus.Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.Experience handling sensitive employee relations matters with discretion and sound judgment.Experience driving high-performing teams.Proven ability to develop and execute an HR strategy and function.Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.Proficiency with HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now is a plus) and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Prior multinational or international company experience a plus.Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures / drawings / prints or governmental regulations; ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals; effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of other management, employees and customers; effectively communicate with people in potentially stressful situations.
Physical Demands
Regularly required to talk or hear; frequently required to sit 30-40% of the time; occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms; occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Intermittent travel may be required. No hard physical labor.

Salary Range
$100,000 to $125,000 based on experience.
