Executive Roofing Systems is a Commercial Roofing Company specializing in long-term relationships with Retailers, Property Owners, and Managers. We are a full-service Roofing Contractor providing roof repairs, full roof replacements, and specialized maintenance programs.

As a Commercial Business Development / Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth by building and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing clients. You’ll work closely with them to understand their needs, provide tailored roofing solutions, and help them resolve roofing issues effectively, ensuring their long-term satisfaction and success.

Responsibilities :

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base and drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain an active pipeline by generating leads, prospecting, and leveraging referrals from both new and existing clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in commercial buildings, including property managers, facility managers, general contractors, and business owners.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to help clients resolve roof issues, providing expert guidance and tailored solutions.
  • Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry-related gatherings to promote company services.
  • Conduct site visits and roof inspections to evaluate client needs and prepare detailed proposals.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals.
  • Perform sales activities, including canvassing, scheduling appointments, presentations, and closing sales / signing contracts.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service at every stage of the process.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and project details using CRM software.
  • Stay informed and up to date with the latest product knowledge, sales strategies, and industry trends.

Requirements :

  • 5 Years in a similar role within the commercial roofing industry and knowledge of commercial roofing systems.
  • Experience using CRM software to keep track of sales activities and schedules, along with being tech-savvy with tools like iPads, iPhones, and other programs.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams.
  • Demonstrated success in sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and understanding sales performance metrics.
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations.
  • Confident, outgoing, and self-disciplined individual who thrives on challenges and takes initiative.
  • Competitive, team-oriented, and highly motivated.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate market trends and competitor activities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, building strong relationships and effectively presenting the company’s services and vision to clients.
  • Highly relationship-driven and people-focused, with an innate ability to establish and sustain meaningful client connections.
  • Physically capable of carrying and setting up a ladder and climbing roofs to assess client needs.
  • Open to traveling within New Jersey.
