Sales Support Specialist

Job Title : Junior Sales Engineer Steel Sales Location : Sea Girt, New Jersey Type : Contract To Hire Compensation : $26.00 - $31.00 hourly Contractor Work Model : Onsite work in either Sea Girt, NJ or Bridgewater, NJ is required 5 days per week. Remote or hybrid work is not available. Hours : 7 : 00 AM 3 : 30 PM Junior Sales Engineer Job Duties : Responsible for providing overall sales support to President, VP of Sales, and selected sales team members as well as the responsibility for assigned EKSP customer accounts. Provide sales support for President and VP of Sales, including creating reports and inventory lists, completing customer quotations, entering Job control Documents Regular communication with President and VP of Sales and assigned customer accounts Aid selected sales team members in areas of order entry, reports / lists, customer communication Assist with customer drawings of cut parts for steel plate processing quotations per customer drawings or customer approved EKSP drawing based on customer description. Communication with sales team leader and salespeople regarding customer drawings as needed. Ensure that all customer orders are given prompt attention and recognize the priorities to enable accurate scheduling consistent with customer demand, customer satisfaction, and EKSP objectives. Assist and participate in material sales. Other duties as assigned. Junior Sales Engineer Requirements : Excellent oral and written communications skills Good problem-solving skills and strong initiative / “can do” attitude Good interpersonal skills, phone manners and the ability to work with others Good organizational, planning and time management skills Excellent computer skills, including comprehensive Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word.
