Impact : Successful sales performance directly contributes to achieving sales revenue targets; accurate forecasting through strong customer relationships permits accurate and timely production planning.

Territory : Greater Cambridge MA (95% of time), with limited trips to New Hampshire and Maine.

Job Duties :

• Meet or exceed assigned sales goals for POROS and CaptureSelect by maintaining growth and actively searching for new business opportunities within the territory.
• Travel to customer sites for sales calls and presentations.
• Work closely with applications counterparts to move sales from evaluation to close.
• Introduce / seed POROS and CaptureSelect products in new processes in accounts while working closely with existing accounts to identify new opportunities.
• Collaborate with customers and product management to forecast and communicate large order and shipment details.
• Maintain and improve sales skills through technical and sales training.
• Proactively update SalesForce and Business Plans.
• Attend tradeshows, conferences, and read trade journals to learn about company products.
• Collaborate with sales colleagues in the territory that represents Thermo's other BioProduction products, including Gibco Cell Culture Products, Single Use Products, and PCR and Sequencing-based Analytics Products, to help grow Thermo's overall Bioproduction business.
