Work Arrangement : This role is categorized as Hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Warren GM Global Technical Center, three times per week, at minimum or other frequency dictated by the business.

Relocation : This job is not eligible for relocation benefits. Any relocation costs would be the responsibility of the selected candidate.

The Role : As a Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for purchase of all or a specific portion of productive and / or non-productive materials, supplies, machinery, tooling and / or services. Responsible for actively participating in the development of commodity strategy, sourcing / negotiations, global / regional material budget execution, and collaborate with suppliers or internal partners. The work is of a sophisticated nature involving a considerable amount of initiative, analytical work and judgment.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities) :

• You will be responsible for purchase of all or a specific portion of productive and / or non-productive materials, supplies, machinery, tooling and / or services. Responsible for actively participating in development of commodity strategy, sourcing / negotiations, global / regional material budget execution, and interface with suppliers or internal stakeholders.
• Work is of a complex nature involving a considerable amount of initiative, analytical work and a high level of independent judgment.
• Partner with Program Managers to represent purchasing and communicate program requirements / vehicle line overview.
