Yard Operator

Staffmark is hiring a hardworking and reliable Yard Operator to join a growing steel distributor in Gastonia, NC. If you have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and enjoy hands-on work in an outdoor / industrial setting, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Pay : $18.00 / hour

Schedule : Monday - Friday | 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

• Pull and prepare stock materials for orders
• Operate saws and bevellers to process materials
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized yard and work area
• Receive, stock, and track inventory in designated areas
• Read and interpret pipe stencils accurately
• Safely use equipment to transport materials throughout the yard
• Report issues or discrepancies to management promptly
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
• Perform additional duties and maintenance tasks as assigned
