Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in various areas of law, including but not limited to litigation, employment law, workers comp aw, and personal injury law. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while providing exceptional support to attorneys throughout the litigation process. 5 - 10 years recent paralegal work experience and a paralegal certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions by conducting thorough legal research and document review.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
• Manage case files using document management systems such as Net Docs and Clio.
• Conduct interviews with clients and witnesses to gather pertinent information for cases.
• Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and easily accessible.
• Utilize legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation.
• Coordinate project management tasks related to litigation timelines and deadlines.
• Collaborate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a professional manner while maintaining confidentiality.

Skills

Proven paralegal experience with a strong understanding of litigation processes.

Knowledge of employment law and workers' compensation law is highly desirable.

Proficient in legal drafting, proofreading, transcription, data entry, filing, and clerical tasks.

Strong writing skills with attention to detail for effective communication of legal concepts.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with document review processes and legal case management practices.
