Vice President of Product Management
As the Vice President of Product Management, you will be a key leader responsible for driving the product vision, strategy, and execution for a large, rapidly growing cybersecurity company. This role requires a dynamic and experienced product leader who can inspire and lead a team of product managers to build innovative, market-leading security solutions that address the complex and evolving challenges faced by our customers. You will work closely with executive leadership, engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success to define and deliver products that accelerate growth and cement the company\'s position as a market leader.
Responsibilities
- Product Strategy and Vision : Define and articulate a compelling product vision and strategy that aligns with the company\'s overall business goals. Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify new opportunities and inform the product roadmap.
- Team Leadership and Development : Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of product managers. Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Set clear expectations and provide guidance to ensure the team\'s success.
- Product Lifecycle Management : Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to end-of-life. Ensure that product roadmaps are prioritized effectively and that the team delivers high-quality products on time.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with engineering to ensure technical feasibility and timely delivery of products. Collaborate with sales and marketing to develop go-to-market strategies and compelling product messaging. Work closely with customer success to gather feedback and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Market and Customer Insight : Be the expert on market trends, the competitive landscape, and customer needs. Translate these insights into actionable product requirements and features that deliver significant value to customers.
- Execution and Metrics : Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the product portfolio. Use data to make informed decisions and measure the success of product initiatives.
Qualifications
Experience : 10+ years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of successfully bringing B2B enterprise software products to market, with a focus on cybersecurity or a related technical field.Leadership : Exceptional leadership and people management skills. Ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a strong product management organization.Strategic Thinking : Strong strategic and analytical skills. Ability to think big picture while also diving into the details of execution.Communication : Excellent communication and presentation skills.
