Overview

VP, Product role at Updater. As the most senior product leader, you will own the full product lifecycle and architect next-gen products, including an Agentic Commerce product, to unlock growth across our product suite in a complex B2B2C marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Vision : Own long-term product strategy in partnership with the CEO and leadership. Define and execute a roadmap to transform Updater into the definitive platform for AI purchasing experiences.
• AI Innovation : Lead platform evolution through Agentic AI and other emerging technologies in collaboration with Data, Engineering, and GTM teams.
• Business Impact : Drive revenue growth, customer acquisition and retention, operational efficiency, and market differentiation. Translate goals into a cohesive product strategy with clear success metrics and cross-functional accountability.
• Leadership & Team Management : Build and mentor a high-performing product organization; foster experimentation, agility, and data-informed decision-making. Partner with engineering on product delivery and maintenance.
• Execution Excellence : Lead end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to delivery, optimization, and measurement. Anticipate market trends and evolving customer pain points to shape disruptive, future-ready strategies.
• Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration : Articulate product vision and progress to technical and non-technical audiences; provide transparent, data-driven updates and align the function with Updater's goals.

Qualifications

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range : $240,000 to $290,000 annually. Factors include skills, experience, and alignment with Updater’s leveling guidelines. Benefits include medical / dental / vision, flexible PTO, holidays, stock options, 401(k) with employer match, wellbeing subsidies, health services, FSA / HSA, disability and life insurance, and parental leave.
