A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM
• 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Manage and conduct care for up to 3 ICU step down patients or up to 4 medical / surgical type patients
• Provide professional nursing care through application of nursing skills and processes
• Develop, implement, and evaluate patient plans of care
• Provide direct patient care as primary caregiver
• Work collaboratively with care team members, physicians, and patient / family to achieve optimal outcomes
• Experience preferred in DKA, ETOH withdrawal, Cardizem drips, and AFIB
• Must reside outside a 60 mile radius
• Work under direct supervision of Nurse Manager and indirect supervision of Director of Nursing
