We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, mechanical knowledge, and experience in service technician roles. This position involves installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in residential and commercial settings. Duties

  • Install and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment using schematics and diagnostic tools.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems.
  • Provide field service support to clients, addressing their HVAC needs promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper HVAC design integration into new builds.
  • Repair appliances related to heating and cooling systems as part of property maintenance services.
  • Utilize welding skills for equipment repair when necessary.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an HVAC Technician (3 years preferred, but open to hearing about previous experience) or similar role with a focus on service technician experience. Communicating with the customers to explain services and provide recommendations.
  • Valid HVAC certification and relevant licenses (state and local applicable)
  • Providing exceptional customer service and take pride in building strong client relationships.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics related to HVAC design.
  • Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
  • Experience in construction or property maintenance is desirable.
  • Proficient in equipment repair and maintenance practices for various HVAC components.
  • Valid driver's license required for travel between job sites.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team while demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Document all work performed, including inspections, repairs and installations.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and tools
