A Brief Overview
Provides direct and indirect nursing care based on established patient care protocol and the nursing process. Coordinates with team members to provide a team-based approached to care. Hours and location may vary based on patient needs.
Essential Functions
Performs treatments, procedures, and medication / immunization administration in a professional and compassionate manner according to organization policy and procedures.
Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job.

Education Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing Required and
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in nursing Preferred
Experience Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of RN experience. If incumbent has less than 1 year of RN experience, must commit to work full time in a Nurse Residency Program. Required and
Previous pediatric nursing experience Preferred and
Previous experience with EPIC Preferred
Skills and Abilities
Excellent skills in communication, listening, customer service, organization.
Excellent clinical skills providing direct and indirect nursing care in an office setting.
Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
Ability to type, navigate an electronic system, and adapt to changes in workflows as they occur.
Licenses and Certifications
RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and / or Compact State Licensure in the state of Nebraska Upon Hire Required or
RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and / or Compact State Licensure in the state of Iowa (if the incumbent works in Iowa) Upon Hire Required and
BLS - Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association Upon Hire Required
Bilingual (English-Spanish) preferred based on clinic location Required and
Travel to other Children’s Physician clinics, may be Required
