Overview of the Senior Accountant Role :

Perform detailed reconciliations of multiple bank accounts, ensuring accurate transaction recording and prompt resolution of discrepancies.

Prepare and review general ledger account reconciliations, including intercompany accounts, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and accruals.

Assist in the preparation of audit schedules, financial statements, and supporting documentation, facilitating smooth internal and external audits.

Collaborate with the finance team to support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all journal entries are completed accurately and on time.

Contribute to financial analysis, budgeting assistance, and process improvement initiatives, driving efficiency in accounting operations.

Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant Role :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in a senior accounting role, with expertise in reconciliations and financial reporting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis tools) and experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, or other ERP systems.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external auditors.

Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness in reconciliations and financial reporting.
