The AR Specialist is a temporary indefinite opportunity with the possibility of being permanent. This is an on-site job, Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM. We are selecting candidates who have at least 3+ years of recent accounts receivable duties and familiarity with accounts payable.

We are currently seeking a dynamic Consulting AR Specialist with AP Skills to join our fast-paced Accounting and Finance department. As a Consulting AR Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health and integrity of our organization. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts receivable and payable, invoicing, posting, and aging reports. This role also involves providing exceptional customer service, maintaining organization, and ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, policies, and coding.

Responsibilities :

1. Oversee all aspects of accounts receivable and payable, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, posting, and aging reports.

2. Maintain a thorough, well-organized system for tracking and reporting financial information.

3. Provide top-notch customer service, resolving any billing or payment issues promptly and professionally.

4. Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately, making journal entries as necessary.

5. Verify all financial data, cross-checking for discrepancies and taking corrective action as needed.

6. Uphold all company standards and policies, ensuring compliance in all financial processes.

7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial coding, applying this knowledge to all relevant tasks.

8. Collaborate with other members of the Accounting and Finance department, contributing to team goals and objectives.

9. Participate in financial audits, providing all necessary information and documentation.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, specifically with A / R, invoicing, posting, aging reports, and customer service.

3. Exceptional organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

4. Strong understanding of financial coding and the ability to apply this knowledge accurately.

5. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to resolve issues promptly and professionally.

6. Proficiency in making journal entries and verifying financial data.

7. A strong understanding of company standards and policies, with the ability to ensure compliance in all financial processes.

8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

9. Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
