Provider Network Development Specialist in Birmingham, AL
LHH is hiring multiple Provider Network Development Specialists for our client in Birmingham. The person in this position will be responsible for developing and maintaining provider networks, including provider identification, solicitation, and rate negotiation in an established PPO network. This is a fully onsite position, hiring as soon as possible.
Overview,
Hiring method : Direct hire
Location : 100% onsite in Birmingham AL
Hours : Monday – Friday, 8AM-5Pm
Salary : $60-64.5k + annual bonus
Responsibilities include,
Performing outreach to new providers and fostering relationships, coordinating rate negotiations with senior leadership teams
Performing new provider orientations
Conducting market research efforts to gain information on competition, provider rates, and any market trends
Assisting in preparation of proposals, maintaining quality assurance policies and procedures, and making recommendations to contract and rate revisions
Qualifications include,
Bachelor degree in healthcare administration or related field required
3 or more years of experience in business development, sales, or related positions including outreach
Prior experience in presentations and extensive telephone work
Experience with rate and contract negotiations (preferred)
Soft skills : Outgoing, enthusiastic, loves talking to people, will not take “no” for an answer, exceptional customer service skills
Pay Details : $60,000.00 to $64,000.00 per year
