Key Job Details – Labor & Delivery RN Location : Irving, Texas 75039 (Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex) Assignment Length : 13-week travel nursing contract Start Date : October 27, 2025 End Date : January 26, 2026 Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM (12-hour night shifts) Hours per Week : 36 Weekend Requirement : 4 weekend shifts per month Facility Setting : Labor & Delivery (12 beds, 2 ORs, 3 triage bays, Level II NICU) Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1930–$2070 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Texas RN license (no temporary licenses accepted) Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience Current certifications : ACLS, BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN) Ability to circulate C-sections Flexible scheduling; willingness to work variable days Preferred : RNC certification and Meditech EMR experience Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive patient care to laboring mothers and newborns in a fast-paced clinical environment Monitor, assess, and document patient status using Meditech electronic medical records Circulate and assist in C-section procedures Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team members Float to Mother-Baby Unit as needed Maintain compliance with hospital policies, dress code, and infection control standards Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while supporting families through the birthing process Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your Labor & Delivery nursing career in Irving, Texas!
