Travel Nurse Job Details Location : Irving, Texas 75039 (Dallas-Fort Worth area) Assignment Length : 8 weeks Start Date : October 13, 2025 End Date : December 8, 2025 Shift : 12-hour days (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM) Hours per Week : 36 Weekend Requirement : 4 weekend shifts per month Unit : Labor & Delivery (12 beds, 2 : 1 patient ratio) Documentation System : Meditech Scrubs : Facility-provided Estimated Weekly Pay : $2200 - $2360 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Texas RN license (no temporary licenses accepted) Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring (FM), AWHONN Experience circulating C-sections in a hospital setting Professional appearance per facility guidelines (hair, nails, tattoos, piercings) Preferred : RNC certification and prior Meditech EMR experience Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care to mothers and newborns in a busy Labor & Delivery unit Circulate and assist during C-sections and obstetric procedures Monitor and assess patients, responding promptly to changes in condition Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Accurately document nursing care using Meditech Float to other nursing units as required Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and healthcare regulations Experience the benefits of travel nursing in Texas and make a positive impact on families in Irving.
