Location : Duties :

• Propound and respond to discovery
• Draft discovery motions and oppositions to summary judgment motions
• Draft complaints, pleadings, mediation briefs, and other litigation documents
• Ensure compliance with the statute of limitations
• Prepare and file government claims
• Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings
• Prepare for, take, and defend depositions
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases
• Conduct legal research using resources such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
• Attend State and Federal court hearings as required
• Assist Lead Attorney with maintaining a heavy case load and meeting deadlines
• Prepare for Second Chair Trials

Requirements :

Education :

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications :

Admission to the California State Bar
