Overview
Regional Sales & Marketing Director, Missouri – MGM Healthcare. This role oversees sales and marketing for the Missouri region, developing census plans, niche development, and hospital partnerships. The position requires strategic thinking and indirect management of Center managers.
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements comprehensive marketing plans and programs for the region's short- and long-term goals.
- Researches, monitors, and analyzes financial, technological, and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities.
- Oversees the advertising and promotion of the marketing plans / programs.
- Develops and implements the annual marketing plan for the region.
- Develops marketing plans for assigned programs, including market analysis and financial feasibility studies.
- Assists various departments with new business and marketing plans.
- Continuously monitors the effectiveness of new and existing marketing plans.
- Represents the facility with business leaders, physicians, the community, and the media.
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills within the facility and with the public.
- Serves as a liaison between outside promotion agencies.
- Consults other departments, as appropriate, to collaborate on marketing and business plans.
- Demonstrates flexibility, organization, and ability to function under stressful conditions.
- Supports and maintains a culture of safety and quality.
Specific Responsibilities
Drive census (occupancy) and specifically skilled census at a high level.Enhance existing relationships with customers.Build new long-term customer relationships using a broad network.Provide accurate and timely territory plans and pipeline forecasts.Professional Requirements
Complete annual education requirements.Meets regulatory requirements.Completes work within designated time.Attends committee, CQI and management meetings as appropriate.Effectively and consistently communicates administrative directives to staff and encourages interactive departmental meetings and discussions.Actively participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner in the community.Complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices.Communicates the mission, ethics, and goals of the facility, as well as the department focus.Performs other duties as assigned.Experience & Skills Required
A minimum of four years of direct sales experience and three years of successful sales management.Strong sales and marketing experience with understanding of the healthcare market and upcoming changes.Proven sales and marketing leader who leads by example and embraces change.Track record of building and motivating successful sales teams, growing sales year over year, and strong customer retention.Ability to manage the online component of sales / marketing, including website development and online advertising.Ability and willingness to travel across the state territory.Education
Bachelor’s degree; Master’s or doctorate preferred or equivalent combination of Sales and Marketing.EEO Statement
