Global Forecasting Lead

The Global Forecasting Lead role oversees and delivers on the Forecasting process and operation, driving accurate predictions and providing valuable insights for strategic planning and resource allocation across the Alzheimers & Dementia Franchise.

You will be a strategic thought partner to the PDC senior stakeholders to develop and drive short- and long-term strategic planning, ensuring fundamental market dynamics are well understood and reflected, facilitating the discussion and decision process for key assumptions with Global and Regional leadership. The role requires strong analytical skills, leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of global market trends.

Forecasting Process & Strategic Partnership

• Develop and drive the short- and long-term planning predominantly for PDCs, including presenting recommendations to Senior / Executive Leadership, proactively and reactively developing business case scenarios, and ensuring alignment on core assumptions based on insights.
• Engage as a thought partner in facilitating a thorough understanding of business performance and opportunities and recommending insights-based decisions.
• Conduct scenario planning exercises to anticipate potential changes in market conditions and develop strategies to address various scenarios.
• Evaluate potential risks and uncertainties affecting forecasting accuracy and work on mitigating strategies.
• Utilize advanced statistical methods and forecasting models based on Epidemiology or other relevant data to analyze historical info, market trends, and external factors influencing demand.
• Identifies and raises critical issues.
• Proactively set the direction, drive, and strengthen the forecasting process in partnership with PDC and IT, applying efficient methodologies using the latest technology to drive robust operation.

The base compensation range for this role is $195,000.00-$269,000.00. Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
