The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for guiding system development efforts through the entire lifecycle. This includes reviewing and assessing project deliverables, providing objective quality assurance to meet IT standards, and ensuring timely and effective delivery in accordance with mission-critical goals. The analyst will also be responsible for engaging and promoting Project Level Quality Assurance efforts, offering guidance to project teams to maintain high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities :
- Project Quality Standards Management : Define and manage quality standards for all projects by evaluating and inspecting deliverables and enforcing quality gates.
- Findings Documentation : Document findings clearly and concisely, both in written and oral forms.
- Collaboration with Project Teams : Direct actions and next steps for project teams based on quality assessments and findings.
- Test Suite Development : Develop and manage an enterprise-wide requirements catalog and test suite. Execute test suites for both monthly and weekly releases.
- Integration of Test Plans : Integrate project-specific test plans and scripts into the organization's test catalog / library.
- Deployment Support : Manage deployment activities, including training, disaster recovery planning, and release notes in collaboration with project teams and Application Services.
- Project Readiness and Certification : Assess the readiness of projects for certification and production deployments, and verify release success in production environments.
- Installation / Deployment Scripts Maintenance : Develop, maintain, and update installation and deployment scripts for various systems / applications.
- Additional Release Process Support : Assist in other duties supporting the release process, such as preparing release notes and managing security privileges for certification and production environments.
- Leverage experience and judgment to recommend modifications that ensure continuous improvement of department tools and resources.
Required Qualifications :
Experience : 3-5 years of related experience in quality assurance and test planning.Test Planning and Execution : Extensive experience with test planning, execution, and analysis.Requirements Definition and Management : Strong skills in requirements definition and management.Data Analysis and Recommendations : Ability to analyze data and make actionable recommendations for improvement.Microsoft Office Skills : Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.Automated Regression Tools : Experience with automated regression tools is a plus.Preferred Qualifications (if any) :
Experience with Automated Testing Tools : Familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP) is highly desirable.Knowledge of IT Standards : Understanding of industry IT standards and quality assurance processes.Project Management Tools : Experience using project management or testing tools such as JIRA, ALM, or TestRail.Certifications (if any) :
