Are you an experienced full-stack Software Engineer, looking to join a very promising startup in an environment with fast iteration and a design-first, founder-led culture?

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping a product that already has strong open source momentum within the design community, whilst working with high autonomy in a high-trust environment that values work-life balance.

You'll be joining a rapidly scaling start-up with huge open-source traction and a fast-moving, design-obsessed culture. The team is pioneering an AI-powered visual code editor that lets teams drag-and-drop and style web components with real-time code sync, generate and modify components via AI, integrate Tailwind CSS, create reusable component libraries, collaborate live, and deploy applications quickly.

As part of a focused, high-caliber engineering team, you'll take ownership of critical product features, working across a full-stack TypeScript system built on React, Next.js, and Node.js. You'll help design robust backend services, build intuitive frontend experiences in a DOM-based editor, and ensure that features are deployed quickly and reliably at scale.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role perfect for engineers who thrive in fast-moving, product-driven environments with minimal oversight and a strong bias for action.

The Role

• Architect and implement scalable backend systems for cloud program execution and maintain frontend experiences in a DOM-based visual editor using React, TypeScript, and Next.js
• Develop AI-powered features to assist users in generating and modifying components and integrate Tailwind CSS workflows for responsive design
• Create and maintain reusable component libraries, smart design combinations, and contribute to product and design decisions
• Own features end-to-end—from conception to deployment and observability
• Work onsite in San Francisco
