Space Colonel is hiring a freelance Social Media Manager. The role focuses on high-volume posting, scheduling, and day-to-day content execution across all platforms. Cadence and approvals will be key - so an organized system and consistency are key.

Responsibilities

Maintain a weekly content calendar with a high posting cadence.

Load posts into scheduling platforms for artist approval.

Provide weekly performance updates and recommend optimizations.

Coordinate with management and artist for final approvals.

Requirements

Proven experience managing social accounts for artists, brands, or entertainment.

Strong grasp of short-form video, current music / social trends, and algorithms.

Proficiency with editing tools.

Organized and detail-oriented, able to balance speed with quality.

Must be Nashville-based

Time Commitment & Compensation

Around 10–15 hours per week (avg. 1–2 hours daily, heavier weeks for album / tour campaigns).

Freelance role, monthly pay based on experience.
