Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, is partnering with a boutique law firm in Midtown Atlanta to recruit an experienced Litigation Paralegal . This is a short-term, full-time, temporary opportunity supporting a dynamic business-litigation and appellate firm.

$35.00 / hr - $40.00 / hr
Job Details
- Start Date : ASAP
- Duration : 2 - 6 weeks; approximately mid-October for about 4 weeks (9.22 - 10.04)
- Hours : 40 hours / week
- Location : Hybrid – Midtown Atlanta, GA; 2 days in office
- Compensation : $35-40 / hour (commensurate with experience)
Responsibilities
Draft, review, and prepare pleadings, discovery requests / responses, motions, subpoenas, and other litigation documentsAssist with case management, including organizing case files, maintaining document databases, and tracking deadlinesConduct legal research, investigate facts, and summarize findings for attorney reviewManage discovery process, including document collection, review, production, and preparation of privilege logsCoordinate depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation, including witness lists, exhibits, and trial bindersSummarize depositions, medical records, contracts, and other relevant case materialsCommunicate with clients, courts, experts, and opposing counsel in a professional and timely mannerAssist with e-filing in state and federal courts and ensure compliance with local rules and proceduresSupport attorneys with trial preparation as neededMaintain billing records, track time, and assist with case budgeting and expense managementCandidate Profile / Qualifications
Proven experience as a paralegal, with a focus on Business LitigationPrior experience e-billing in GA, PACER, drafting, blue booking, and cite checkingFamiliarity with drafting documentsStrong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage complex case materialsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in legal research tools and case management softwareAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentLOD is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
