Global Payment Terms Governance
This role will focus on global payment terms governance, reporting, tracking, etc. This work stream is brand new, and the work didn't exist in prior years. ~70% of the job description will be focused on payment terms while ~30% will be allocated to supporting the Indirects team.
- Leading and collaborating on global payment terms and cash flow improvement initiative, Digitization of spending taxonomy & analytics across global Directs / Opex / A&M / capital, Develop and coordinate AOP
- Indirects AOP, powerteering reporting, performance tracking, cross functional partnership
Responsibilities
Global Policy Ownership : Define, maintain and communicate policies / guidelines around overall payment terms objectives, industry best practice, exception approval matrix etc.Business goals setup : Evaluate the total addressable spend and develop Cashflow AOP / Fcst.Data analysis and performance reporting : Monitor KPIs such as DPO, adoption rates, spend compliance etc. Ensure aligned categorization of spend and supplier segmentation. Improve quality of data.System and process compliance : Coordinate with DMO, Controls and ERP teams to ensure updated terms are reflected appropriately. Continuously improve and leverage system capability in Paywise tool to size the prize.Benchmarking and market intelligence : Monitor Industry standards, competitor practice, regulatory environment and inform decision making.Standardization and compliance : Drive harmonization of terms across markets and global suppliers while adhering to regulations and local laws.Cross functional engagement : Partner with FP&A, Procurement, Supply Chain, technical teams, treasury, banks to identify opportunities and implement payment term changes.Supply Chain Financing : Dealing with Banks and financial institutions to facilitate Supplier financing within PepsiCoChange management : Enable organization wide adoption of a cashflow Productivity mindset through training, development, playbooks and stakeholder engagementIndirects 30% (Existing job profile)
Business goals : Accountable for developing, in partnership with category leads Annual Operating Plan, Quarterly Forecasts and Monthly Latest Estimates for assigned categories.Measurement and reporting : Support productivity project reporting process (review / approve projects, project logs, powersteering reporting, framework application & insights)Support contract management process (review / approve contracts, support contract log process, contractual obligation reporting, etc.) and related SOX controls.Ensure business information and insights are communicated efficiently, timely and accuratelyCross functional engagement : Engagement with key internal stakeholders such as Global Procurement commercial teams, Financial Planning, Control and Systems SupportCreate Analysis & Reporting models to tell the story with dataPerform ad hoc analysis on business performance and initiativesCompensation and Benefits :
The expected compensation range for this position is between $106,400 - $178,100.Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
