A leading AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a talented Mid-Level Associate Attorney to join its distinguished Trusts & Estates Practice Group in Seattle . This is a unique opportunity to work closely with a high-caliber team advising ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, and closely held businesses on sophisticated estate, tax, and succession planning strategies.
Candidate Profile
- JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record .
- Active Bar Admission in Washington or eligibility to waive in.
- 2–4 years of substantive experience in trusts and estates law .
- Experience in estate planning for high-net-worth individuals , trust and estate administration , and preparation of federal estate tax returns .
- Exposure to business succession planning , charitable giving , and implementation of complex tax strategies .
- Tax Background : An LL.M. in Taxation is strongly preferred , but not required.
- Prior experience at a boutique trusts & estates firm or within a dedicated practice group at a larger law firm .
- Soft Skills : Excellent writing and analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex strategies to clients with clarity and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Estate Planning : Advise clients on sophisticated estate planning strategies, including wealth transfer, gift planning, and family governance.Administration : Manage trust and estate administration, including preparation of estate tax returns and probate filings.Strategic Tax Planning : Implement advanced tax planning techniques for high-net-worth families and closely held business owners.Succession Planning : Work on multi-generational wealth planning and business succession strategies.Client Communication : Interact directly with clients, financial advisors, and fiduciaries to deliver thoughtful, tailored legal counsel.Collaboration : Work closely with partners and colleagues across related practice groups to offer seamless client service.Why Join Us?

Compensation & Benefits
