Job Summary\n\nWorking in conjunction with the Director of Chronic Care and Clinical Supervisor, the Registered Nurse (RN) assesses, plans, implements and collaborates with other departments to ensure excellence in patient and family care, reflective of CCH mission, vision and values. Provides professional nursing care to assigned patients with kidney conditions that require dialysis treatment. The Registered Nurse (RN) will integrate departmental goals for improvement across the care continuum. He / She coordinates and delegates unit and patient care activities, as appropriate, to other health care providers. The Registered Nurse (RN) practices within the framework of the Wyoming Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association professional standards, National Patient Safety Goals, and the American Nephrology Nurses Association standards of practice.\n\nRegistered Nurse Primary Job Duties\n
- Performs patient assessment and documents in patient record.\n
- Develops an age appropriate plan of care, which addresses physical, psychosocial and spiritual needs, in collaboration with other members of the health care team.\n
- Implements the plan of care, delegates appropriately and ensures documentation of interventions.\n
- Evaluates progress towards desired outcomes, revises plan of care and intervenes as necessary.\n
- Educates patient and families regarding current health status, plan of care, and anticipated outcomes.\n
- Provides service excellence to all customers.\n
- Demonstrates efficient time management and prioritization skills.\n
- Maintains professional standards related to clinical practice, staffing and continuing education.\n
- Practices fiscal responsibility and accountability.\n
- Actively participates in hospital committees, CQI teams, and Quality Improvement Program.\n
- Maintains a clean and safe environment.\n
- May be required to work on other nursing units according to distribution of staff and patients.\n
- Adheres to CCH policies and procedures.\n
- Complies with the hospital's Corporate Compliance Program including, but not limited to, the Code of Conduct, laws and regulations, and hospital policies and procedures.\n
- Must be free from governmental sanctions involving health care and / or financial practices.\n

- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, BSN encouraged.\n
- Licensure\n
- Current Wyoming RN license.\n
