Overview : Sterling Engineering / Staffing is currently looking for a Senior Technical Writer for one of our clients in the La Grange, IL area. Sterling has a rich history of delivering top talent to our clients. We are a nationwide Staffing Firm with over 100 clients and works primarily with Fortune 1000 corporations.

Hourly Rate : $45-50 / hr

Job Description :

This position is for a Senior Lead Technical Writer that is an expert in Adobe Structured FrameMaker. The position requires attention to detail and great organizational skills. Candidates should be able to multi-task and work on several jobs at a time. The candidate must have excellent communication skills and be willing to work as part of a collaborative team. The candidate should have experience working with very large books from 300-1000 pages containing upwards of 20+ chapters. The candidate will work very closely with a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in developing Technical Publications. The candidate should have a strong technical background. Experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field is preferred.
