As a Piping / Utilities Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily tasks on utility projects, ensuring all operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will manage a team, oversee project schedules, and emphasize safety and compliance on all sites.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily tasks according to priorities and plans, adjusting as necessary for weather, supply, delivery, and personnel changes.
• Delegate individual responsibilities and projects to crew members and contractors.
• Recruit, hire, train, manage, and mentor employees and contractors.
• Provide adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices, and safety needs.
• Emphasize safe use of tools, machinery, and equipment while providing training on safety gear, helmets, and procedures.
• Develop and manage project budgets and quality standards for all sites.
• Resolve conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably.
• Regularly report project status to supervisors, site engineers, and other officials.

This role is on-site at various project locations. The company is a growing civil contracting firm that offers great benefits and generous bonuses.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $150000.00 / yr.
