- Mentors and supervises nursing and support staff throughout assigned shifts.\n
- Determines staffing levels and assignments based on availability, skills, census, patient acuity, and workflow.\n
- Delivers direct patient care when required.\n
- Collaborates with staff to address and resolve issues.\n
- May take on patient assignments to ensure adequate staffing.\n
- Evaluates the quality of patient care and identifies areas for improvement.\n
- Adds value by addressing patient care complaints through established protocols.\n
- Performs essential duties including managing patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.\n
- Ensures that staff have the necessary equipment and supplies for safe patient care.\n
- Adopts evidence-based practices into daily operations and clinical protocols.\n
- Encourages a culture of professional growth among team members.\n\nMinimum Qualifications : \n
- Valid RN license in the state of KY or compact state\n
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required\n
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred\n
- BLS certification required\n
- Exhibits strong critical thinking skills and the ability to make sound judgments with minimal supervision.\n
