• And much more...\n\nPosition Summary : \n\nThis role serves as the primary leadership during off-peak hours, providing resources and support to staff members, assisting in patient care, and ensuring high standards of patient treatment.\n
• Mentors and supervises nursing and support staff throughout assigned shifts.\n
• Determines staffing levels and assignments based on availability, skills, census, patient acuity, and workflow.\n
• Delivers direct patient care when required.\n
• Collaborates with staff to address and resolve issues.\n
• May take on patient assignments to ensure adequate staffing.\n
• Evaluates the quality of patient care and identifies areas for improvement.\n
• Adds value by addressing patient care complaints through established protocols.\n
• Performs essential duties including managing patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.\n
• Ensures that staff have the necessary equipment and supplies for safe patient care.\n
• Adopts evidence-based practices into daily operations and clinical protocols.\n
• Encourages a culture of professional growth among team members.\n\nMinimum Qualifications : \n
• Valid RN license in the state of KY or compact state\n
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required\n
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred\n
• BLS certification required\n
• Exhibits strong critical thinking skills and the ability to make sound judgments with minimal supervision.\n
