Role : Middleware Software Engineer with IBM MQ and IIB

Job Description

Expertise in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting IBM MQ messaging queues, channels, and brokers to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient message delivery.

Strong experience designing and implementing message flows, transformation, routing, and integration services using IIB to connect heterogeneous applications and services.

Understanding of enterprise service bus (ESB) patterns, asynchronous messaging, and integration best practices.

Tuning middleware components for high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance.

Writing scripts (Shell, Python, etc.) for automation of middleware deployments, monitoring, and recovery processes.

Monitoring and Troubleshooting : Proficient in monitoring middleware environments using tools such as IBM MQ Explorer, IIB Toolkit, and third-party monitoring systems to quickly diagnose and resolve issues.

Implementing secure communication channels (SSL / TLS), message-level security, and compliance with organizational security policies.

Working closely with developers, system administrators, and business stakeholders to deliver robust integration solutions aligned with business requirements.
