Senior LINUX Systems Administrator

Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas based IT consulting firm, is currently seeking a Senior LINUX Systems Administrator to join our team. Employer asks for I-9 information.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in a computer related field or equivalent.
• Minimum of five (5) years of related experience.
• Knowledge of technical principles, theories, standards, practices, and procedures.
• Five (5) years of experience of knowledge equivalent to an RHCE, LPIC-2 / 3.
• Working level knowledge of, networking, virtualization, SAN, Cloud, and related technologies.
• Minimum of two (2) years demonstrated experience in VMware vSphere.
• Working knowledge of disaster recovery practices.
• Enterprise working knowledge of Red Hat products : Red Hat Satellite Server, Ansible Tower / Automation Platform, Apache / Nginx Web Server, Red Hat IDM, Tomcat / WebLogic Middleware, HAProxy Load Balancers, Bind DNS, GitLab, Docker / Kubernetes, Networking, EMC storage.
• Experience with database systems such as Oracle, MySQL / MariaDB, and Postgres.
• Solid understanding of SOA architectures, core Linux system, and solid services support.
• Understanding of complex networks and networking infrastructure as well as networking best practices.
• Must be a team player with good customer service skills and the ability to work flexible hours if required.
• Ensure to exhibit strong end-to-end troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Red Hat Certifications preferred.
