Accounts Receivable Specialist (Full-Time)

We're looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our accounting team and help ensure the accuracy and timeliness of our billing and payment processes.

Job Description :

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you'll be responsible for managing the company’s outstanding invoices, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining up-to-date records. Your work will directly contribute to our cash flow and overall financial health.

• Manage and maintain accurate customer accounts and receivables
• Review and process incoming payments
• Send out invoices and follow up on outstanding payments
• Handle customer inquiries related to billing issues or discrepancies
• Maintain records of accounts, including payment status and aging reports
• Prepare reports on outstanding accounts and provide updates to management
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing issues
• Request preliminary information from customers and process prelien notices
• Record weekly work in progress notes during meetings and record in the software
• Assist with month-end closing and audit preparations as needed
• Reconcile job costs and maintain weekly / monthly job close-outs using the work in progress report
• Review and process all Tier 2 reporting to customers
• Maintain monthly fuel log reports and process quarterly state refunds
• Set up new customers and obtain all information needed
